Occult-Vibes, an occult horror painting comes to life in slow, steady motion, the camera locked off and still. Black candles burn on the washstand and the heavy mirror frame is carved all over with occult symbols. In a derelict candlelit room, a woman with a very short jet black crop slicked back wet against her head, the nape of her neck bare, stands with her back to us in front of a tall antique mirror. In the glass, her reflection is screaming and pounding both red-stained hands against the inside of the mirror, muffled and frantic, as if trapped behind it. The real woman ignores it completely: she calmly finishes smoothing the hair at the nape of her neck, then slowly turns her head and looks straight at the reflection. The reflection stops screaming at once. It lowers its hands, goes still, and a slow, wide smile spreads across its face while it stares back at her. Her hair stays the same short slicked-back crop from the first frame to the last. For a long moment neither of them moves. The carved symbols on the mirror frame begin to glow a faint ember red, one by one. Then the candle flames on the washstand bend, flicker and go out together, and the room drops into darkness except for the cold grey light coming from the mirror and the smiling face inside it. Sound: a muffled, desperate scream and fists thudding on glass, then sudden total silence, then the soft hiss of the candle going out.
